Western Wear What started as a few racks of clothing amid the shovels and handles "over in a corner" in 1980, has now become the biggest volume department we have in our stores.
We are successful because we listened to what our customers told us they wanted. First and foremost they told us that they wanted the best quality available at the best prices. It is challenging at times, but we still try to provide the best clothing we can find at a price that our customers can afford.
With the core of our customers in the early years coming from the agriculture and logging industries, we knew we had to provide clothing that would stand up to lots of use. We focused on Carhartt and Wrangler for our basic clothing inventory. We added many other companies to the product mix, and we expanded into Women's and Children's so that we could be the "one stop shop" for Western and work clothing. We've added boots, too, from Ariat and outerwear from Outback Trading Company. These are just a few of many clothing and footwear lines we carry. We try to focus on those companies who build their reputation on a commitment to producing quality products at fair prices.

Wrangler - Wrangler started as The Hudson Overall Company in 1904 by C.C. Hudson in Greensboro, NC. After name changes, purchases and mergers, Wrangler is now part of VF Corporation, one of the two largest jeans manufacturers in the world.

Outback Trading Co. Ltd.- Outback has been producing outerwear since 1983. Most notable for their use of Australian oil-skins to create waterproof dusters, jackets and vests, they have developed a complete line of Western, work and performance outerwear.
They still use the oil-skins, but they also use polyester acrylic fleece, cotton twill, water resistant Microsuede and their own "Great Barrier fabrics" that are waterproof, windproof and breathable. Styles vary from the waterproof, Outback Duster in 10 oz. oilskin to the western-influenced Trailblazer, and on to the soft, warm and fashionable printed fleece jackets.
Product that was once sported by people who worked outdoors in all the elements, has crossed over to the recreational markets. You may see them on the ski slopes or even at the rainy (or snowy) day football game. The newer high tech fabrics carry this line even farther, so that Outback products are turning up anywhere that people want to look good and not sacrifice comfort and performance for appearance. And, it isn't for men. It's available in women's and childrens sizes, too.
